Archiving Policy
The International Journal of Social Sciences Review Archives (IJSSRA) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To safeguard scholarly work and maintain academic continuity, the journal adopts the following archiving strategies:
1. Digital Preservation
IJSSRA uses trusted third-party digital archiving services to preserve all published articles in stable and secure formats. These services ensure continued access to content in the event of technical failures or system discontinuities.
2. Institutional Repositories
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the final published version of their articles in institutional and subject-based repositories (e.g., university libraries, ResearchGate, Academia.edu) in accordance with the journal’s open access policy.
3. Self-Archiving
Authors may self-archive the accepted manuscript and/or the published version on their personal websites or academic social networks, with appropriate citation and a link to the original publication on the IJSSRA website.
4. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Systems
IJSSRA supports participation in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) networks, which allow libraries to preserve journal content by regularly harvesting and storing it across geographically distributed locations.
5. Portico (if applicable)
The journal is in the process of integrating with Portico, a leading digital preservation service, to further enhance the reliability and permanence of its archives.
