This study examines the relationship between social inequality and crime rates within urban environments. Utilizing socioeconomic data, crime statistics, and spatial analysis from various urban centers, we explore how disparities in income, education, and employment contribute to fluctuations in crime rates. By employing regression analysis and GIS mapping techniques, the study highlights significant correlations and provides a nuanced understanding of the socio-economic underpinnings of urban crime. This research aims to inform policy interventions that address both crime reduction and social equity.
